About Me

Born Wendy Ann Mucci in Brockton, MA, Wendy was the youngest of four siblings living with her mother, singer June Mucci, and grew up in her grandmother's house. Watching her mother perform at a young age inspired Wendy to dream one day of becoming a performer herself.

Wendy took dance lessons growing up which lead to her first performances on a stage in dance recitals. After acting in her first play in seventh grade, she was hooked! She found her niche with the drama club at Brockton High School performing in several plays and musicals only solidifying her love of performing.   She attended Bridgewater State University where she majored in Speech Communication and Broadcasting with a focus in French language. Wendy was crowned Miss Brockton and was a contestant at the Miss Massachusetts USA Pageant 1990.

After college, Wendy continued to follow her passion for acting in Cape Cod theatre where she was awarded Best Supporting Actress in a Drama for her portrayal of Helena in Look Back In Anger by the American Regional Theatre Association and was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy for her portrayal of Raina in Arms and The Man. She also co-hosted and performed skits as part of a cable television talk show where she gained experience in front of the camera.  Her passion for performing  soon drew her to Los Angeles where she was hired as a promotional rep for a company but after four years returned to her home state of MA to be near her family.

After starting a family of her own back in New England, Wendy felt something was missing from her life. In 2009, she decided to train for film and television and flex her acting muscle once again, pursuing her lifelong dream.  She trained from 2009 - 2012 before she joined Boston Casting and went on her first commercial audition which she booked.

Now consistently working in films, television, and commercials, Wendy has proven herself as a professional, reliable actor in New England.  She is most known for her acting roles in First Signal, The Love Triangle, Death's Door, and District C-11. Her proudest achievements include winning Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series at LAWEBFEST in 2015 for her lead role in the award-winning web series, Family Problems. Besides acting, Wendy has also done print work for Mirbeau Spa, Derby Street Shops, Legacy Place and Wareham Crossing. She shines as a spokesperson and performing radio spot voice-overs.
